Unbound is two stories in one. First there is a murder mystery and second we are introduced to the sexually adventurous Homicide Lieutenant Ellison Frost. Both stories intertwine as Ellison investigates the death of a high profile socialite found sexually bound and suffocated. On December 28 we heard the story of the Holy Innocents, and on January 6, even though it generally fell during the week and not on Sunday as is now the case, we heard the story of the Magi.
