- With 105 bereaved siblings and 311 comparison classmates, we had 90% power to detect moderate effects (d =.5) for all group comparisons, and for small effects (d =.3), power was 49–71% for peer-reports, 53–61% for self-reports, and 49–78% for teacher-reports. Power varied from 46–74% to detect moderate sized interactions for the RCP.
